As a Senior Virtualization Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of Hyper-V and Azure cloud environments for multiple clients. You'll work across private and public cloud projects, providing expert guidance and resolution on complex issues while serving as a technical mentor to your peers. This is a hands-on engineering and consulting role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Virtualization Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of Hyper-V and Azure cloud environments for multiple clients. You'll work across private and public cloud projects, providing expert guidance and resolution on complex issues while serving as a technical mentor to your peers. This is a hands-on engineering and consulting role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Hyper-V and Azure virtual environments.
- Maintain client system uptime and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Lead infrastructure migrations, onboarding/offboarding, and tool optimization.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical issues and on-call support.
- Produce detailed documentation and deliver progress reports to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay current on cloud and virtualization trends, certifications, and best practices.
- 10+ years of hands-on IT experience in infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server (2019+), and Azure IaaS.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and basic Linux administration.
- Scripting/automation familiarity (PowerShell, Python preferred).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs).
- Awareness of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI, etc.).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 & AZ-801)
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Virtualization and Hyper-V (74-409)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
