Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Azure Consultant with strong hands-on experience in managing Azure infrastructure within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. The ideal candidate has some architectural capability—enough to lead implementations and guide best practices—but remains focused on delivery, escalation support, and system administration. This role is critical in co-managed client environments, where you’ll collaborate closely with internal IT teams to design, deploy, and support Azure-based solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Azure Consultant with strong hands-on experience in managing Azure infrastructure within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. The ideal candidate has some architectural capability—enough to lead implementations and guide best practices—but remains focused on delivery, escalation support, and system administration. This role is critical in co-managed client environments, where you’ll collaborate closely with internal IT teams to design, deploy, and support Azure-based solutions.
- Implement, manage, and support Azure IaaS and hybrid infrastructure (VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, backup)
- Work closely with client IT teams to optimize Azure tenant environments
- Lead smaller cloud projects or phases of larger migrations with guidance from an architect
- Support Azure identity and access management via Microsoft Entra ID and AAD Connect
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell or Terraform
- Maintain documentation and contribute to standards for client environments
- Serve as a high-level escalation point for Azure-related incidents
- Provide support and insight into compliance frameworks like HIPAA, PCI, or SOX
- Participate in onboarding/offboarding activities and co-managed change management processes
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Architects to deliver customer outcomes
- 7+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, including at least 2–3 years managing Azure environments
- Proven experience working in an MSP or co-managed customer setting
- Strong understanding of Azure IaaS services: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Backup, storage
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, and AAD sync
- Comfortable with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell required, Terraform preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and client-facing teams
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – required or in progress
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (AZ-800/801) – preferred
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) – a plus, but not required
- Any relevant compliance or security certifications (Security+, ITIL, etc.)
